A Historic Wedding Venue for a Historic Day.
Full access to every space on our 34-acre farm, including the 1870s farmhouse, is included for all 12-hours
Start Your Big Day in the Spacious Bridal Suite
Our bridal suite is a private and comfortable space where you and your bridal party can relax and prepare for the big day.
The bridal suite includes:
ample room to move around comfortably
natural lighting
space for hair, makeup and plenty of lounge areas
its own entrance and covered porch with rocking chairs & a swing (so that you can enjoy the outdoors on your wedding day)
sliding barn doors with a latch to ensure that you are tucked away until your big reveal as a beautiful bride!
Plenty of Space for the Guys, too!
Often times, the guys can feel left out because the spaces included for them on the wedding day feel like an after thought. Not on the farm!
We offer the following options for grooms and their groomsmen on the big day:
a comfortable grooms lounge with its own entrance
access to two big-screen TVs with a variety of streaming options
plenty of storage space for wedding day attire
on-site fishing in our fully stocked pond - bait, tackle & rods provided!

A location that can be transformed into a beautiful and memorable ceremony space by using included decor items or adding your own special touches.
A stress-free day for you, your bridal party & family because our dedicated team will manage the setup, day-of coordination, and clean-up.
(this includes moving chairs!)
An included PA System so that everyone in attendance can hear the ceremony and you can maximize your budget if you choose not to invest in ceremony musicians
(our system has a bluetooth connection & we can recommend some popular tunes)
We have several weather contingencies (all included in the fee) and we can make a final decision up to 3-hours before your ceremony start time
A completely separate space for cocktail hour.
Our cocktail hour space adds an extra element of fun and socialization to your event! And because everything is included in our wedding packages - you don’t have to worry about the extra costs normally associated with this “extra hour”.

Stunning Backdrops For Your Wedding Day Photos
Capture memories that you’ll love reliving years from now.
With over 34-acres, there’s no shortage of unique backdrops to capture the most significant moments of your special day.
Once you book The FARM 1780, you will be able to access the property for engagement photos & bridal portraits. On the day of, you & your wedding photographer will have full access to all of the picture spots on the farm for your wedding day photos.

We are a real, working farm. That means that your wedding menu is full of the freshest ingredients harvested within days of your wedding. You won’t find that dining experience anywhere else.
And, while getting in the fields & interacting with livestock isn’t for everyone — if that’s your thing, we are here for it!
Unlike most farm venues, we are conveniently located in the heart of Lexington with easy access to area hotels, Lake Murray, the airport, and downtown Columbia.

Once you book, a day-of-event insurance policy is needed. Nuptial Risk will reach out to you directly once you book with us and it’s around $240 and takes less than 3 minutes of your time.
Rates and contract terms are based on the date the contract is written, not the tour date.
A $2,000 non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to secure a date.
